| Juste pour vous dire que la nouvelle version de Down in Flames va être imprimée dans quelques jours et qu'il est encore possible de le pré-commander d'ici là pour 47,99$ au lieu de 59,99$. http://www.dvg.com/.sc/ms/dd/ee/22/Down%20In%20Flames%20-%20Aces%20High Cette nouvelle version c'est : - de nouveaux graphismes pour les cartes et les campagnes, - 110 cartes avions et 110 cartes actions, 88 pions, 6 campagnes(Invasion of Poland, Battle of Britain, Daylight 1944 Bombing, Guadalcanal, East Front, Battle of Midway), - des règles complètement revues : différenciation Rafales/dommades, système des cartes d'action modifiés afin d'offrir plus de possibilités de manoeuvres, missions de campagnes à la réussite moins dépendantes des cartes tirées. Voilà, ça m'a l'air d'être tout bon!  |

Bonne question, en avril dernier il y a eu ça dans le mail de news de GMT :
Many of you who attended the GMT Weekend this past weekend asked me about our plans for future support of the Down in Flames series. My responses were generally along the lines of "we're talking about it," which I'm sure wasn't real helpful in answering your question. (Sorry )
We've been having an internal conversation about this for quite some time now. And frankly, we've been a bit conflicted about it, as
a. We really like the series (Rodger and I were the original developers, if you recall and I still play it a lot at Mike Lam's Aces events).
b. We have a team - Rodger and Mike Lemick and Dave Lawrence and the rest of the art and development team - that has had work in progress on a European version of the game for some time now - a complete remake of cards, packaging, and a combination and expansion of the first two series games.
c. BUT the pace and totals of our game sales of all four original games were frankly lousy compared to just about any other game in our line, and we wondered both about the wisdom of allocating more resources to a game that might not sell well as well as whether there was really a big demand for a new game
d. Most recently, Dan announced a new different version of DIF through his company, so we had to sort through if/how we could continue support for the original series without fracturing the DIF community - and especially in respect to Mike Lam's so-very-cool ongoing ACES events.
Well, Tony and I have been talking rather intensely about this for a couple of weeks, and Rodger has been working with Mike and his teams, and both Rodger and I finally got to some closure with Tony this weekend on what we're going to do, so here it is:
We are going to ramp up the work on the European game project with an eye to getting it on the P500 list sometime this summer or early fall at latest. And then we're going to do what we always TRY to do: we're going to LISTEN to what you guys want.
If you want to see the original series continue, the time is approaching when you will be able to let us know through your P500 orders. We'll be watching closely; if the game shoots up the list, we'll have our answer. If it doesn't, well, we'll really hate it, but I guess we'll STILL have our answer.
Regardless of how the P500 returns pan out, though, know that we WILL continue to support the existing games in this series both here and at various conventions. More importantly, Rodger will most certainly continue his amazing and continual support of this series in the pages of C3i Magazine.
Finally, I just want to thank all of you guys who've played this game/series with us over the years. I have a lot of great memories of aces campaigns and convention games with many of you going WAY back to the early 90's. THAT interaction and seeing people having so much fun with the game is one of the big things that has allowed us to continue to believe in the series despite the rather woeful sales performance of all the games. We REALLY hope the sales turn around with a new near-future offering and we can do plenty more. But that's going to be up to you guys. What I can promise you is that Rodger MacGowan is going to be fully engaged on a number of levels in this project. And I think our history has shown that when Rodger really dives into a game, what you guys get for your money is just REALLY COOL!

Mais la version "Europe" dont ils parlent n'est toujours pas dans le P500. Donc, on ne sait pas trop. |

| Les nouvelles règles sont sympas, mais les graphismes DVG sont criards ( buerk les cartes des campagnes ) ! J'hésite donc fort à tout racheter... |

Mais on s'en fout des graphismes. Et puis ils sont pas si moches que ça, va voir les cartes de la série SWWAS, la seule série de jeux vendue avec une plaquette de Vogalène! :indifferent:
Le seul regret que j'aurais c'est l'absence d'avions français... |

De toute façon, je suis au Lyonnais. S'ils m'em..... , je leur demande 45 millions d'euros pour préjudice moral! :roi2:

| D'ailleurs, si tu trouves des coquilles sur la traduction, n'hésite pas à m'en faire part.
Il faut bien que les chômeurs s'occupent ^^
J'avais également commencé la traduction de l'ancienne version... en son temps... |
